The approval request consists of several parts:
- The list of documents to be approved on the left
- The visualization of the selected document on the right
Approve or reject a document
- Select the approval request
- Click on “Review documents“
- Indicate whether the document should be approved or rejected:
- If the document is correct, click on the button to approve it.
- If the document is correct, :
- Click on the button to reject the document.
- Enter a comment
- Click on “Reject”.
- Repeat the operation on all the documents
- Click on “Confirm”
If the documents need to be approved by others approvers, then the request will remain pending until the other approvers have reviewed. It is possible to follow the progress via the “History” tab.
Once all the documents have been approved, they will have the status “Approved” and can no longer be modified.
There is the possibility to comment a document or to download all the documents of the approval request by clicking on the button
In the event of a refusal, the author may :
- Either update the rejected document and request for a new approval
- Or keep the rejected version, explaining the reasons, and resubmit it
