How to schedule automatic deletion of a document in a custom configuration?

To schedule the deletion of a document in a custom configuration, simply access the configuration of an already customized client folder and modify it, to manipulate the checkbox in the column "Delete the document when it expires" for each of the relevant document types.

To do this, follow these steps

  • Click on the "Helpers" icon
  • Then, in the Predefined Helpers section, click on the helper with the following name "Document expiration process configuration"
  • Click on a client whose configuration has been customized
  • Then check the checkbox in the "Delete the document when it expires" column

Once this action is completed, documents linked to the document type will automatically be moved to the trash once their validity date is reached.

Without a defined delay for a document type, automated deletion actions will not be triggered.
