The Fact catalog allows you to list the various items and/or services to be invoiced to customers.
This catalog is divided into 2 levels:
- Categories: a category is equivalent to a range or family of products,
- Products: an item is a good or service to be invoiced to the customer. It is attached to a previously created category.

Create a category
- Go to the "Catalog" menu
- Click on "+" and then on the "New category" button
- Fill in the details of the category in the appropriate fields
- the category reference (not required). This must be unique for each category,
- the VAT rate to be used by default on the products that will be attached to this category,
- the label of the category,
- the description (not mandatory),
- the sales accounts to be used when transferring to the accounts, by VAT rate.
For more information on sales accounts and VAT rates, contact the accounting firm.
- Click on "Save" to validate the creation of the category
Edit / delete a category
Once the category is created, it is possible to :
- Display the attached products by clicking on the category
- Modify the information of the category:
- Click on the button with the 3 small dots located at the end of the category on the right
- Make the desired changes
- Click on "Save" to take the changes into account.
- Delete the category
Once product in the category has been used in a document, it can no longer be deleted.
