Importing documents

Modified on Tue, 27 Sep, 2022 at 9:18 AM

It is possible to drag and drop documents from your computer.

From the file explorer, simply select all the documents to import and drag them into the Scan application.

During import processing, the main view displays a progress animation as shown below:

When the import is finished, the documents appear in the application, in the bunk currently being selected.

Files in .pdf .tif and .tiff format are converted to black and white

Documents for accounting processing

For accounting processing (purchases, sales and banks), only files in the following formats are allowed:

.pdf .tif .tiff

To do this, simply drag and drop your document into one of the accounting bins.

It is recommended that you import documents of the same quality as a scanned item: in black and white and at a resolution of 300 DPI.

Colour documents are automatically converted to black and white.

Documents for Documents

Documents for Documents application can be documents already scanned, they are then authorized in color.

To do this, simply drag and drop your document into the bunk .

In addition to PDF and TIF documents, documents from Office pack (Word, Excel,…) can also be dragged and dropped.

Special case of digitally signed .pdf files

Some .pdf files that you will want to import will be digitally signed. When selecting them in Scan, a "Read-only document" banner with an "Unlock" button on the right will appear at the top of the preview.

No merge, cut, rotate or contrast modification operation can be performed on the file until the document has been unlocked.

When a digitally signed document is unlocked, it results in the loss of the original signature of the document.
